Agreement of Collaboration Signed Between Lincoln American University and Sharda University

At Lincoln American University, School of Medicine (LAU), the first year of the 5-year MD Program is a Pre-Medical Program or Basic Foundation for Medical Sciences Program that covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Introduction to Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Introduction to Neurosciences and Medical History and terminologies. The Pre-Medical Program is intended to prepare the students to handle the thorough course of study that they will experience in the remaining 4 years of the 5-year MD Program at LAU.


This program is a prelude to the 5-year MD Program at Lincoln American University of which two years will be on Basic Sciences and two years will be on Clinical Rotation which can be done in Guyana or USA.


Lincoln American University has entered into an academic partnership with Sharda University for the conduct of the first year Pre-Medical Program at Sharda University based upon the approved curriculum of LAU. This gives a unique opportunity to the students for enjoying the enriched academics of two renowned universities.


On 23rd August 2018, Lincoln American University and Sharda University have signed an agreement of collaboration for various academic co-operation including Pre-Medical Training at Sharda University. The agreement was signed by the Vice Chancellor of Lincoln American University, Air Marshal (Dr) Pawan Kapoor, AVSM, VSM, and BAR (Retd), Former Director General of Medical Services (IAF) and the Registrar of Sharda University, Mr. Amal Kumar. LAU's collaboration agreement with Sharda University marks the expansion of LAU's international partnership in India with Sharda University.


The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of:

Now, Indian students can complete the first year of LAU's 5-year MD program i.e. Pre-medical in Sharda University in India and remaining 4-years of the MD program i.e. Basic Sciences Program & Clinical Sciences Program shall be completed in Lincoln American University in Guyana.
