LAU Students Start Pre-Medical Program at Sharda University
The Academic Session for the first Year of the MD Program of Lincoln American University, School of Medicine (LAU) has commenced on October 3, 2018 at the campus of Sharda University.
The Inaugural Session for Medical Training was graced by Air Marshal (Dr) Pawan Kapoor, AVSM, VSM, and BAR (Retd), Former Director General of Medical Services (IAF), Vice Chancellor of LAU, Dr. H.S. Gaur, Dean, School of Basic Science and Research, Sharda University, and Dr. Dinesh Singla, Dean of LAU.
All the prominent faculty members were present throughout the Event. They motivated and inspired the students to study hard and imbibe the knowledge that is going to be imparted to them. All the faculty members interacted with the students during the Inaugural Session.
All the guests addressed the students and apprised them of the necessity to focus on their academics and avail the excellent opportunity being provided to them for building a good foundation of scientific knowledge that shall assist them in understanding and comprehending the contents of the Basic Sciences Course which they will pursue at Lincoln American University in Guyana next year.
The timings of the classes will be from 8:45 A.M. to 4:15 P.M. The students shared their background and their dreams with the faculty members. They expressed their happiness with the facilities that were made available by Lincoln American University and the academic environment provided to them at Sharda University.
Collaboration between Lincoln American University and Sharda University has made it easy for students in India to get medical education abroad. Now, LAU Indian students can complete one year of Pre-Medical Program in India at Sharda University and then come to Lincoln American University for medical education in Guyana, South America, complete the next 4 years of the MD Program at LAU and become successful doctors.
