To elect Student Governing Council (SGC) for 2020, we organized SGC elections on the Campus. The elections were held on November 19, and the result was announced by the Vice-Chancellor Air Marshal (Dr) Pawan Kapoor AVSM, VSM, and BAR (Retd), Former Director-General of Medical Services (IAF), on November 20, 2019.

The 15-member SGC team for 2020 is ready to develop new opportunities and organize exciting activities for all of you in the new year! We congratulate all the nominees for being nominated and the new SGC team for being elected. We also wish elected members all the best and success during the course of the performance of their respective portfolios.

Formation of Student Governing Council is an effort of Lincoln American University to build a culture of transparency, authenticity, creativity, and community. These efforts will help the students make the most of their medical education in Guyana. It will also ensure that students can express their issues and get quick resolutions and enjoy Caribbean student life in Guyana to the fullest.
