Creating new beginnings, this year, several students from India aspiring to become successful doctors chose Lincoln American University for their medical education. As a part of the 1+2+2 course structure of LAU, these students would be studying the first year of their course in India.

The students would be studying in the Sharda University, for a year before joining the Guyana campus of Lincoln American University. During this part of the course, the enrolled students would be familiarized with the new curriculum and university life. 

With an objective of guiding the students through their life in the coming few years as well as introducing them to their faculty members, an orientation ceremony was conducted in the afternoon of  20th December 2021, in the premises of Sharda University.

The orientation cum welcoming ceremony was marked with the presence of several distinguished personalities like Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor, Vice Chancellor of LAU and  Mr Syed I. Rigan, Finance Director, LAU. The event also marked the warm embrace of several faculty members like  Prof. S.K Banerjee, Dean, SBSR, Prof. U.V. Balakrishnan, Academic Coordinator, Dr. N. K Sharma, Biology Professor, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Director A.I. et all for the students. The guests welcomed the students and wished them good luck for their studies.
