High Commissioner of Guyana Visits Indian Office of LAU

On 26th October 2021, 8 square sector 125 Noida, the Indian office of Lincoln American University, Guyana, witnessed the visit of H.E. Charrandass Persaud, High Commissioner of Guyana to India along with his associates to interact with the  university’s leadership and staff. The honorary guests were welcomed in the esteemed presence of Dr. S.K. Washim (President, LAU), Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor (Vice Chancellor, LAU), Dr. Dinesh Singla (Dean, LAU) and Mr. Arun Katayal (Registrar- Admissions & Examinations, LAU). The affable meet and greet was accompanied by a series of discussions for the betterment of LAU students. It is to be noted that the ardent and devoted LAU team has been constantly engaged in providing the best of amenities and comfort for all its students.

This visit is of extreme significance as a large number of students from India are currently pursuing their MD program at the university. One such decision as of the recent days was that of availing 3 years of student’s visa for Indians to study in Guyana by H.E. Charrandass Persaud, High Commissioner of Guyana to India, a few days back after his meeting with the Vice Chancellor and Dean of LAU.

The visit of His Excellency in the LAU office in India has paved the way forward for bringing in coordinated efforts for education related infrastructure development at Guyana and for encouraging aspiring students to choose Guyana as one of the preferred destinations for professional and higher education. The visit concluded with the warm embrace of both the stakeholders to provide the best facilities to the Indian students studying at Lincoln American University, Guyana.
