Guyana’s President, Dr. Mohammed Irfaan Ali, Celebrates Navaratri at Radha Krishna Mandir

In a vibrant display of culture and devotion, Dr. Mohammed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana, celebrated the Navaratri festival at the Radha Krishna Mandir located on Camp and Quamina Streets. The event, attended by devotees and community members, marked one of the key religious observances in the Hindu calendar. During the Navaratri Satsang, participants engaged in prayers and devotional singing dedicated to the Goddess. This reflected the festival’s emphasis on devotion and the triumph of good over evil. The Mandir was adorned with traditional decorations, creating a serene and festive atmosphere that brought the community together. President Ali, known for his support of cultural and religious events, interacted with attendees and expressed his appreciation for the rich traditions that strengthen Guyana’s diverse social fabric. The evening highlighted not only the spiritual significance of Navaratri but also the unity and harmony that festivals foster among citizens. The event concluded with collective prayers and the sharing of prasad, leaving participants inspired and spiritually uplifted.
